Frequently asked questions
Is Todix really free?
Yes. Todix is free for companies, with no limit on users or tasks.
How do I create an account?
Click Start free, enter your name and email, then set your password from the link we send you. Next, set up your workspace and invite your team by email. You can work in several workspaces with the same account.
How do I add a teammate?
On the Team page, click “Invite”, enter their email and choose their permissions. When they click the link, they create their account and join the workspace directly.
Can I work with more than one company?
Yes. With the same account, you can join as many workspaces as you like or create new ones. Switch with one click from the picker in the top menu; companies never see each other’s data.
Who can see what, and who can assign tasks to whom?
The workspace owner and admins decide: who tasks can be assigned to, who they can be handed over to, and whether all tasks are visible. Ready-made templates are included, and you can fine-tune them person by person.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Todix is an installable web app (PWA). On Android, and on iOS 16.4 or later, you can add it to your home screen and get push notifications.
Where is my data stored?
The database and files live in data centers in Frankfurt. Each company has its own space, kept apart from every other company by row-level security.
Which files can I send?
PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, text and ZIP. The default limit is 25 MB per file, and it can be changed in the workspace settings.
